TickIT Auditor Training Courses

IRCA certified TickIT auditor training courses provide quality professionals from the software industry with the knowledge and skills required to assess the conformance and performance of an organization's quality management system and to contribute to the continuous improvement of the business.

The courses will help you to:

ISO 9000:2000 series TickIT Lead Auditor course

(5 days plus a 2 hour written examination)

This course has been developed for those intending to audit management systems within a software/IT environment to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, either as second or third party auditor. (Course requirement for certification as an internal auditor on the TickIT program). The course provides details on:

  • The process approach to QMS and auditing
  • The 8 quality management principles
  • The requirements of ISO 9001:2000 (and guidance in the accompanying document 9004)
  • TickIT Guide Issue 5
  • How to plan, complete and report the audit of an  entire QMS

Internal TickIT audit course

(3 day course)

This course has been developed for those intending to audit  some or all areas of their business operation in a software/IT environment as part of the organization's internal QMS audit program. (Course meets training requirement for certification as an auditor on the TickIT program). The course provides details on: 

  • How to plan a QMS audit in a software/IT environment
  • How to audit a certain area of a business operation in  a software/IT environment
  • How to report a QMS audit
  • The process approach
  • The 8 quality management principles
  • The requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and TickIT guide 5
