Many readers will have heard of, or may have attended, TickIT Forum meetings over the past years. These meetings provided much valuable interchange between those involved in implementing quality management systems within organizations and also with those engaged in developing the scheme.
The TickIT Office look upon the TickIT Forum as an excellent source of user feedback on TickIT and, therefore, it plays an important role in helping to maintain the high standards expected of the TickIT scheme.
Opinions have been sought from former members of the TickIT Forum and it is clear that there is a strong nucleus of people who would like to see the regular programme of meetings reinstated. The TickIT Office certainly do not want to lose such a buoyant 'user group' and it is trying to establish a mechanism which will allow the TickIT Forum to continue independently. Currently we are seeking industry support, sponsorship or business partner to help re-instate the Forum.
